Family of Conrad Mailander and Margaretha Kuehlem. We believe that this photo was taken in honor of Conrad and Margaretha's 50th wedding anniversary in April 1901. Not everyone has been exactly identified. We need your help. Look to see if what I have is correct. First row of three girls in front: Mary Louise Sauer ?, Luella Sauer ?, Zella Mailander. Children seated L to R: Harold Steinwart ?, Ellen Mailander, Cyril H. Mailander, Wilbert Mailander, Cecil Steinwart ?, unknown (previously thought to have been Luella LaBolle), unknown person, Lucille Bochtler, Theresa Mary Sauer ?, Harold Bochtler, Genevieve Steinwart ?, Loretta Mailander ?. Third row seated women L to R: neices Anna and Lena Mailander ?, Agnes Kennedy Mailander, Mary Brignon Mailander, Louise Mailander Sauer ?, Conrad, Margaretha, Caroline Mailander Mathis ?, Mary Gertrude Mailander Labolle, Annie Catherine Bochtler ?, Sophia (Groolemand) Mailander or this could be Margaret Mailander Steinwart. Back row L to R: Herbert Eugene Mailander, William Conrad LaBolle, Ruby Louise LaBolle, Edward Charles Mailander, Celestine Mary Mailander, Henry Mailander, Christian Steinwart ?, Boniface Sauer ?, Fr. Kalvelage ?, Minnie Schupmann Mailander, Fr. Huth ?, William Peter Mailander, Eugene Mathis ?, John B. LaBolle, William Bochtler ?, and Charles Mailander. As you can see, I may not have the names of the daughters exactly lined up. A newspaper article about the event noted that Charles came with his daughter Lauretta, based upon time period his wife was expecting Clarence, so not likely to have traveled from Rockford. Very sure of the Henry's children as well as the Bochtler and possibly some of the LaBolle children since we have other pictures of them. I have been informed that Mary Gertrude Mailander LaBolle's youngest daughter Luella LaBolle was not in this picture, unsure why she would not have been there. I am also positive on the William P. children. Guessing on the parents was based upon the children looks, age and location in the picture. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
