Douglas Mailander had this photo that showed his grandfather Cyril Mailander, second from left Cyril's brother Wilbert first on the left shelling corn at Joe Cranes. Based upon the age of the boys I would estimate this picture to be taken around 1905 in Clare Iowa. Also in the photo are cousins Emil Ulrich (5th from left) and his son Elmer Ulrich 3rd from right. Elmer and Cyril and Wilbert were 2nd cousins, sharing the same great grandparents Mathias and Catharine Kuehlem (Margaretha's parents). Emil married Margaretha's neice Annie Kuehlem.
