* The James D. Majors of California*

Updated September 5, 2000

Since most of the research for the Majors side has been conducted by my Uncle, I am looking to fill in the family tree on my mother's side.

The patronymic name is Kryger and I believe the origin is Dutch. I know there were three brothers who crossed the Atlantic sometime in the mid to late 1800s and settled in Michigan (possibly Grand Rapids).

Of the three brothers, the only name I have is 'Chris' or 'Christopher'. Two married and the other we are not sure.

My grandparents lived in Cadillac, MI until about 1965. Thereafter they have lived in the suburbs of Dallas, TX.
