Beulah Fentress, 93, of Bellmead died Monday, June 25, 2001, at a local nursing home. Services will be at 3:30 P.M. Thursday, June 28 at Wilkirson-Hatch Bailey Chapel, 6101 Bosque Blvd. with the Rev. Larry Taylor and the Rev. Bob Beeman officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 P.M., Wednesday, June 27 at the funeral home. The family will be at 3025 Cumberland. Mrs. Beulah Fentress was born in Quannah, Texas, June 22, 1908, moved to this area at an early age and attended schools in Axtell and Elk. She married Hobart Fentress in 1931 in Waco and he preceded her in death in 1942. She was an employee of Progress Laundry for 42 years. Mrs. Fentress was an avid Texas Rangers fan. She was a member of Sparks Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Naomi Fentress of Bellmead; a sister, Monette Parrish of Waco; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Kendrick, Barry Kendrick, Willie Kendrick, Leroy Parrish, David Parrish, Michael Parrish, Jerry Mars and Frank Reichardt. Honorary pallbearers are C. E. Jim Coleman and C. W. Jack Eaton.
