Mrs. Martha Victoria (Fleming) Poe, 80, of 1500 McKee, who lived in Dallas County most of her life, died early Friday at Parkland Hospitalfollowing a long illness. She is buried at Rockhill Cemetary near Brownsboro, Henderson County, Texas.Her death certificate filed with the State of Texas is file number: 195.
Mrs. Poe was born in Illinois and moved to Dallas County with her family when she was two. She had been a resident of Dallas for the last 50 years. She was a member of the Grand Avenue Assembly of God Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mamie Atkins of Dallas, Mrs. Edith Phaup of Tyler, Mrs. Edith Jett of San Francisco, Calif., and Mrs. Madgie Moore of Lindale, a son, Haston Poe of Brownsboro, Henderson County, 26 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.
