Francis Malone is a cypher. He is only mentioned in his father's will. His sister was born 1811 Ft. St. Stephens, Ala., where his father was magistrate, land agent, asst. Indian agent who with Lt. Gaines arrested Aaron Burr. I desc. Francis brother, Capt. Edward Malone, Sr., CSA, Mobile cotton broker, born Mobile 1825.

From Malone's Mill Creek, Warren Co., N.C., in 1799 Thomas Malone was land clerk, Raleigh, N.C. By 1802 he had removed to Ft. St. Stephens, Ala., with his Norsworthy kin, where he was land office agent, asst. Indian agent under Gaines, and magistrate. His wife was Mrs. Mary S. Malone. They married circa 1778 to 1806.

Thomas Malone arrive Ft. St. Stephens, Ala., circa 1802, then removed to Wakefield, Ala., and finally Mobile. He arrived from Raleigh, N.C., born Malone's Mill Creek, Warren County, N.C. His wife who died Mobile was Mrs. Mary S. Malone. Was she the daughter of Col. Nathaniel Baxter of Granville County, N.C.?

Thomas Malone, Sr., 1802 was land agent, magistrate, asst Indian agent, Fort St. Stephens, Ala. His wife was Mary S. Malone. Was her maiden name "Slade".
