I am researching the PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE family. Thomas PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE came to Ohio sometime after 1860 from Castleisland, County Kerry, IRE. He first appears on the Holmes County census with his wife, Jane O'TOOLE, in 1870. They were married in Wooster, Wayne County, Ohio in 1867. They had four children: John, Thomas Arthur, Garrett, and Mary Ann (QUINLIN). He possibly had a brother John, and a sister or sister-in-law, Maria. Jane may have had two sisters or sisters-in-law, Margarita and Maria Anna.
I have found a Thomas PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE, a John PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE, and a Mary PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE, all children of a Maurice PRENDIVILLE/PRENDEVILLE and a Catherine SULLIVAN, all born in Castleisland, County Kerry, in the correct time frame. If you have further proof that might tie my "Thomas, John, and Maria" to this "Thomas, John & Mary", please contact me.

Thomas was a construction foreman for the railroad due to the fact that he could read and write the Gaelic language. Sons John and Garrett also worked on the railroad. Thomas moved his family to Canton, Ohio sometime after the 1880 census. He, Jane, and sons John and Thomas Arthur remained in Canton until their respective deaths. Garrett moved to Kansas sometime prior to his own marriage.
I am seeking information on when Thomas and Jane arrived in the United States, and information that verify relationships with legal witnesses/sponsors.
I will appreciate any information you have, and am willing to share what information I do have.
