RENTSCHLER AND ASSORTED FAMILIES
I would like to dedicate this site to my brother, Richard Lynn Rengler. He passed away in April 2003 and our lives haven't been the same without him. We miss him terribly and want to honor him here. His spirit, his love, his sense of humor are all things we are mourning the loss of. This is for you, Dick. After his passing I felt a need to connect on a deeper level with family, this is part of that effort. In striving to know where to go, it's comforting to think of all those who've gone before us, we aren't alone. It also reminds us to keep in touch with those we love as we aren't promised another day. DEAR FAMILY AND FRIENDS Don't weep for me when I have crossed the bar, I shall be dwelling where the "many mansions" are, And when your turn arrives, Embark without a care, For I'll be waiting, arms outstretched, To greet you there. By: Mildred Rengler In October of 2003 I began the research of my family name of Rengler. I quickly found out it was originally Rentschler. Due to the help of Grace O'brien and Cynthia Howerter the knowledge of my family was greatly enhanced. I owe them a debt of gratitude for their generosity and friendship. They are family as well, an added bonus. Now I have begun researching these names: Slaight, Weed, Green, Cunningham, Stebbins and Postle. The Stebbins information was gathered from the following website: (more cousins!) http://www.stebbinsancestralsociety.org/ To find more information on an individual, click on surnames, then highlight that person and it should show the notes or click index of individuals, then select a person from there. There you can find things such as newspaper articles, book references and personal remembrances. Any information, comments or corrections will be appreciated. | RENTSCHLER AND ASSORTED FAMILIES Updated August 19, 2013 |
