I'm reseaching a few different families. I began with the Ballerscheff's - my husbands paternal family. I've since wandered into resesarching his maternal side - Bujacz - and my maternal family - Manka. My husband's grandfather, Karl, immigrated to Canada to escape the turmoil in Germany and Europe as a whole. Ditto for my own grandparents - Michael and Maria Manka and for the Bujacz family. Only they are from Poland. Any information would be appreciated - especially for the Ballerscheff side.
