I am researching my husband's Family.His grandfather,Robert Raymond Mander, came from England when he was 10 years old.He later married Nancy Elizabeth Dieterick.Nancy was born in 1887. I've got her side of the family going back to Peter Singer born 1788.Haven't been able to confirm some of the older dates. Family reunions were held for many years in and around the Niagara area.We had been living in Alberta for many years and of course, couldn't attend the reunions down there too often.So I decided we should hold a western family reunion here.The first one was in August of 1992. They caught on and we have been having them every year since then. If I can possibly help anyone with the information I have please let me know Also, if you have any information it would be much appreciated. |
