Find Family

During the past fifteen years I have collected and researched information about my family history. Although it is not complete, I have assembled a great amount of information about this African-American Family that served the Town of Emporia, Greensville County, Virginia for many years beginning in the 1880s. Grandpa Robinson was known to be the premier blacksmith in the town from his arrival until his death in 1933. The family has gathered additional surname associations through marraige. Additionally, one realizes the significance of this family when you consider the fact that the land purchased in North Emporia before the turn of the last century is still remains in family members hands.
