| The John Manley from whom our family descends was born June 9, 1737, married Charity Addis on June 27, 1758, had 12 children, kept an Inn at Six Mile Run in Somerset County, NJ during the Revolution, was a Wagonmaster during that war, died November 28, 1807 and is buried in New Brunswick, NJ.The problem facing us is that we do not know whence came John Manley. I've searched in New England, New Jersey and Virginia and have found some "possibles", but none that the genealogists will certify. I'll be very grateful if you can help and I'll be willing to share the volumes of information I've collected in the past 15 years. |
