Manderson - Proudfoot Tree

I am tracing my own and my wife's family trees. My side the Mandersons lived mainly to the South and East of Kelso in Scotland. The males tend to be called John (first born) and James (second). The were shepherds going back as far as I can trace (c1770).
On my mother's side they are Scotts and Elliots

My wife's family (Proudfoot) come from Perthshire in Scotland.
and Marshall from Linconshire.
