The Manchester Family Home Page

I am interested in researching further on the "Manchester" families in early New England and their ancestors in Europe. I am also interested in any Manchester immigration to Canada. I am particularly interested in the brothers or sisters and ancestors of Thomas Manchester who was born in possibily the Yorkshire area of England in 1620. He was in the present area of New Haven, CT. in 1639. Shortly after he moved to the Portsmouth, Rhode Island area where he spent the rest of his life. There he married Margaret Wood and they had eight children.
It is possible his father was Preleg or Peleg Manchester who was born in England in 1595. I am willing to share any information on the Manchester families I have.
