Families in which I am researching from my father, James H. Bremners', side of the family are: BREMNER, BRACE, STONE, McGLATHERY/McLAUGHLIN,and LAWRENCE. They are from Maine, Nova Scotia, Ireland, Scotland and England.
I am looking for Lydia PERKINS and Family of Bucksport or Castine, ME. She married Sgt. William LAWRENCE, a soldier of the English Army and he was at Castine during the Revolution. His journal is published in Wheelers, History of Castine. He removed to Bucksport at the end of the Revolution and lived to be 96. Also, need info on James Bremner who came from Scotland in 1800 to Clinton, ME.

The name LAMBERT enters the family somewhere.

Charles P. Bremner, my greatgrandfather was b.Clinton, Maine. He owned Sawmills in Clinton, Maine as well as Susanville, California.

Barker Bremners' side of the family are extensive: BARKER, BANGS, BATCHELDER, BENNETT, BROWN, COOKE, DUNHAM, ELDRIDGE, HAMBLEN, HINCKLY, HUSSEY, HARDING, JENNE/JENNY, LITCHFIELD, LOMBARD, LUDDEN, MAYO, NASH, POPE, PURINGTON, RICH, RING, SAWYER, SWIFT, WADE, WEARE AND WING/WINGE.

The places of residence and birth are: Maine, Mass. and England.
Some of the towns are: Truro, Barnstable, Scituate, Weymouth, Andover, much of Cape Cod, Gorham, N.Yarmouth, Turner, Canton, Hartford, Auburn, Lewiston, Magalloway Plantation, Upton, and Freeport Maine.

I am looking for the parents of Catherine (Bennett) LUDDEN, b.22
June 1800 Boylston, MA, m Daniel Ludden 6 March 1826 in Canton,ME
She had a brother Capt. Josiah BENNETT, m Eunice COOLIDGE. All are buried in the Ludden family cemetery in Canton, ME.
