My primary research focus is on the Michael Hyder (1743-1790) family from East Tennessee. The Edens, Gourleys, Davenports, Pattons, Williams, Kites, and Taylors were neighbors and relatives through the years. A secondary focus is the Sechrest family from Kentucky. Names tied to this family include Blanchet, Fugate, Robinson, Hand, and Boggess. A third line that I'm interested in is the Lucas family from Kentucky. Names tied to this family include Brumback, Singleton, Slaughter, and Simpson. I'm interested in any information on these families and will gladly share any information I have.
