This page is the foundation for what I hope will be an educational, informative journey through not only the history of my own family, but also within social history as it affected it. I have been trying to discover my ancestry to determine if I am German or Irish/Scottish? Sounds like an easy one, but as history has it there were two Mann families, one from Ireland, and one from Germany that both settled in close proximity in Pennsylvania I have been researching the elusive Mann family now for three years.
