The April Martin Family Home Page

I am presently researching The Martin Family that originally came from Irvine Parish, Ayrshire County, Scotland.John Martin was born there in approximately 1786 and made his way over to Alysford, Nova Scotia, Canada in the early 1800's.I have a list of his descendents but require more details on them.My direct descendants stayed in Nova Scotia but do know that one part of the family in the early 1900(or around there) moved to Newfoundland, Canada.
I am also looking for information on the Hollaway family from the Boston Area.My great- grandmother married a Hollaway from that area and when he was lost at sea she moved back home to Middlefield, Nova Scotia with her two children and was pregnant with her third.Her third child was born in 1909.(which became my grandmother)
I would appreciate any information that you can share with me and I will also share the information that I have gathered.
