I am researching the Connor/O'Connor surname from Dayton, Ohio.Maurice O'Connor married Mary O'Connell in Dayton around 1840; They had 7 children: William (who settled in Columbus, Ohio and
dropped the 'O' from O'Connor), Ellie O'Connor, Mary (Mollie) O'Connor, John O'Connor, Maurice O'Connor, Elizabeth O'Connor and Michael O'Connor.
I am also researching the BAEHR family of Hamilton Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio. We know the Joseph Baehr married Mary A. Gardner on December 26, 1852 in Hamilton, Ohio.They had six children that we know of:Justina Elizabeth born in 1859, and
John, Mary, Charles, George, and Jesse - birthdates unknown.
