I am searching for any family history of Joseph Ratledge born 1825 in Gayton, England.He married Mary Ann Kingston.
I am interested in the names of the children.I know of
George Herbert Ratledge Sr. born Dec. 13,1953 in Gayton, England
who later moved to Chicago,Illinois.I have two other names
Charles Montague Ratledge born March 25 and William Arthur
Ratledge born Nov. 4, 1858 in Gayton,England. But, I am not sure
of the relationship.My grandfather's name is Lawrence Ratledge
born Feb.8,1896 in Illinois. I believe my great great grandfather's
name is Joseph Ratledge.My great grandfather I am not sure.
I have a name Charles Monague Ratledge but, I could not find his
name in the books at St. Catherine's in London. I know that George
and William left London to come to the United States.Did he
change his name??I would deeply appreciate any help I can get.
I am willing to share what information I have.
