SADLER, BIRDWELL, CEMETERY GRAVEYARD RECORDS
Located in the 2nd Civil District of Jackson County on Highway 85, off of highway some 200 yards. South. On the farm of 271-1/4 acres of Christopher Bullard sold to Clayton Rogers for $1271.12-1/2 in 1808.
This lot was given by some of the early settlers of the community and we believe by Clayton Rogers. This farm now owned and occupied by R. Kirk Hix. The graves are well cared for, though not many have tombstones. On the East side of this lot are 6 or 8 graves said to be the family of George Birdwell,
with only small rock marking these graves. There is a wire fence around this cemetery.
