Memories of Uncle Larry By DeCody Brad Marble:

Uncle Larry took us fishing, mushroom hunting, squirrel and ground hog hunting and just mainly took us all out for a fun time. he showed us
how to handle a rifle and how to drive a standard stick shift automobile. We often pushed over great big trees of the forest, (that were rotted
out at the bottom). It would make us laugh that we could push something down so big!! Uncle Larry would point out the hawks, owls, deer,
and other animals long before any of us could spot them. He also took us out looking for bullfrogs on a late night. We often went great
distances into the country. I saw parts of Ohio that I never knew existed. In Loudonville, we climbed a great big hill just to find a clean spring,
so we could see what the water tasted like from it.

Larry had done many of these things as a boy when he was with our father and Jim Gossett. He often told stories on his father and his brother
Duane. Larry really filled in a void in the life of us boys when we needed a male figure in our youth to talk to about anything. Larry was very
important to us, and we will all miss him very much.
