Hello Friends and Family and fellow generous genealogy diggers!
I am in Germany! Whoohoo! It is a beautiful place here! Check ou my business webpage below for the latest pix of Heidelberg.
I hope to be able to work on my stuff in my spare time.
I can't wait to get caught up!

I research many lines...funny how that happens when your tree grows. :)
DETIENNE: Belgian Immigrants to the US 1853. Etienne and his brother Phillippe Joseph were early settlers of the Brown Co., WI Robinsonville area.
I also have information on the Audrain Co., MO DETIENNE family. They originated from the same area near Wavre, Belgium. So I feel there will be a tie eventually. Maybe my move to Germany in 2002 will give me the opportunity to research in that area more deeply.
KINNISON: This is my maternal Grandmother's line. I was adopted so this is one of my bloodlines.
We have this line back to Edward Kinison the Quaker Chester Co., PA (1650-1736). Sketchy through to Charles and Martha Day Kinnison, settlers of Pocahontas Co., WV. I have information through their migration to OH..and then onward to Nebraska.

KINCANNON: Hannah Matilda Kincannon married William Henry Kinnison. They were early pioneers of the Angus, Nuckolls Co., NE area.
Earliest Kincannon: Frances Kincannon of Washington Co., VA early 1700s. Son George Kincannon.
Other Kincannon connections I am currently working on:
~HITT, Peter: Daughter Susannah HITT m: Thomas Palmer
~PALMER, John: Son Thomas married Susannah HITT.
Both of these lines are back to the Revolutionary War Period.

My husband's lines:
SCHEY~to~SCHAI. Wm SCHEY came to the US either late 1800s or early 1900. William and Hannah LEWIS Schai.
MARTINEZ. Very hard to research.
SMITH: Jewish line from the Westchester Co., NY area. Jacob and Mary GREENBLATT Smith early 1900s. They owned a plumbing supply in Westchester Co., Son Henry Smith married my husband's grandmother Ruth Schai.

Due to the amount of information I have accumulated I am not responsible for misrepresentation. I cite my sources the best I can...but the information I have accummulated can be sometimes wrong.
An Example is work from a now parted KINNISON researcher...Don E. Kinnison. I started with the information in his book about William Henry Kinnison. I find every once in awhile that the information is off. He originally attatched us to the KENISONs of NH and New England. I am not saying Edward doesn't attatch with them somewhere...I am entertaining thoughts of Allen and Dorothy Kenison from MA right now. He also had us attatched to David Kennison of the Boston Tea Party. Anyone researching David..knows what a mess this information has become.
I hope to someday find the connections to this family. It has become my hobby obsession.

Let me know if you find a connection I will be happy to share my interpretation of my family history.

Happy Bone digging!
Donna DETIENNE Martinez
