Notes for E
DWARD KINISON:
All of his children's birthdates are by the Gregorian Calander

"The records of the Court for Chester County, PA., in 1681, and 1697 show that John Sanger petitioned to have his pay for the keeping of Edward Kinnison 26 weeks in his sickness amounting to 5 pounds, 18 shillings and 6 pence. The Court ordered that Nicholas Newland doe take care to pay the sum out of y publik levies. John Sanger petitioned the cour for y remaining part of his pay for the keeping of Edward Kinison. The court promised to take y matter into consideration. County of Chester Debtor gave to Edward Kinistone 9 pounds 15 shillings."
--The Genealogical History of William Henry Kinnison of Angus, Nuckolls Co., NE page 112 1981\
"The court records of Chester County suggest that Edward Kennison was orphaned at an early age, because in March 1688/9 a John Sanger of Concord petitioned the county court for compensation for 'his pay for keeping Edward Kinison 26 weeks in his sickness amounting 5-18-6 shillings-pence.' There are several entries later in the year regarding this matter." --information via EMAIL from Phyllis Bauer 4-2000\

In "Maryland Early Settlers(Lord Records Library Number 7) compiled by Annie Walker Burns, Folio 463, date 1664--Pat Millican transported Edward and Gabriel Kenniston in 1663.
--The Genelogical History of William Henry Kinnison of Angus, Nuckolls Co., NE (appendix page 112 1981\
Donna DeTienne Martinez 4-25-200-- note**Could be that Edward is actually older? and had a brother/relative Gabriel? Would add 20+ years to his age...which isn't totally out of the question for the ages of his children and would make sense if he died at the age of 75-80 rather than 56?
--Questions:
1. get more on Pat MILLICAN. (aka Pat WILLIAMS)
2. Was 'transported' as in across the sea? or from county to county
3. More on Gabriel KENNISTON

"In 1696 a "penny per pound" tax was levied and Edward Kinnison was on the tax list. They raised 113 pounds, 4 shillings and three pence from the tax for Chester County, Pa."

Children of E
DWARD KINISON and MARY GREENAWAY are:
2. i.   EDWARD2 KENNISON, b. September 01, 1705, Chester Co., PA.
ii.   MARY KINISON, b. December 14, 1707, Chester Co., PA; m. UNKNOWN PUGH.
  Notes for MARY KINISON:
"It is not known for certain what became of Mary Pugh, Edward and Mary's daughter, but she and her husband were probably amoung the many by the name of Pugh name who settled in the Cacapon area of what is now West Virginia. There were many by that name along the Cacapon River at and early time, and many are living there even to this day. It is an interesting to note that a book entitled "Capon Valley, Its Poineers and Their Descendants" was written by a Maud Pugh. There was, however, no mention of Mary (Kennison) Pugh in this book."

iii.   WILLIAM KINISON, b. March 13, 1710/11, Chester Co., PA; m. ELIZABETH CUNNINGHAM, 1745, Chesterfield NJ.
  Notes for WILLIAM KINISON:
In my opinion:
William was one of two, of the six children of Edward that remained a Quaker.

William moved from Haverford(1737) to Chesterfield, NJ, where he married Elizabeth Cunningham in 1745. Then moved to Shrewbury, Monmouth County, NJ. In 1757 they took "certificate of removal" destination unknown.
"A will of Thomas Smedley of Willistown written the 30th of July 1757 and recorded 25th of March 1758, mentions "part of 25 acres purchased of William Kinnison" A record for Thomas Smedley buying this land from William Kinnison was not found"--notes via information from Phyllis Bauer 4-2000
