|
Notes for MARY KINISON: "It is not known for certain what became of Mary Pugh, Edward and Mary's daughter, but she and her husband were probably amoung the many by the name of Pugh name who settled in the Cacapon area of what is now West Virginia. There were many by that name along the Cacapon River at and early time, and many are living there even to this day. It is an interesting to note that a book entitled "Capon Valley, Its Poineers and Their Descendants" was written by a Maud Pugh. There was, however, no mention of Mary (Kennison) Pugh in this book." --Notes via information via email from Phyllis Bauer 4-2000 addtional information on Mary being DISOWNED by the Society of friends for marrying outside of the Society of friends.
