Wilkes Co., NC Will Book #3 Page 252 (252) Jany Term AD 1821 Almighty God my creator, who gave it unto me & my Body to be Buried in a decent Christian like manner at the discre- tion of my Executors hereafter Named, & as touching such wor- ldly Substance wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this world, I dispose of in the following manner & form. Item. I will that all my Just Debts be paid that I am Owing of and all my Debts that are Owing unto me be collected by my Executors hereafter Named. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Son Benj amin Jones my Negroe boy Named Sam. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Daughter Mildred Martin my Negroe boy Named Harry. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Daughter Lucy Cass my Negroe boy Named George. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Daughter Fanny Robinett my Negroe Girl Named Chana. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Grand Daugh- ter Elizabeth Louisa Robinett my Negroe Girl Named Leah. Item. I give unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Jones during her Natural life the use of my Plantation whereon I now live & the following Negroes, to wit. Cue, Neil, Mary & Toney also two Horses my Stock of Cattle, Sheep, Hogs with my house- hold furniture & Kitchen furniture & my working tools of ev- ery kind. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Son Benj- amin Jones two Hundred Dollars out of the Money that John Martin owes me. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Daughter Lucy Cass two Hundred Dollars out of the Money that John Martin owes me. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease unto my Dau- ghter Fanny Robinett one Hundred & Seventy Dollars out page 2 of the money that John Martin owes me. Item. I will that my Executors hereafter named pay the money to Benjamin Jones above Mentioned also the money above Mentioned to Lucy Cass & Fanny Robinett. Item. I give & Bequeath after my decease & my wifes Elizabeth Jones the Ballance of my Estate both Real & Personal to be equally Divided between Phoebe Robinett, Benjamin Jones, Elizabeth Thurmons, Lucy Cass, Mildred Martin & Fanny Robinett. Item. I leave that part of my Estate that fall to my Daugh- ter Phoebe Robinett in the Hands of John Martin & my Son Benjamin Jones in trust for my Daughter Phoebe Robi- netts use during her life & then to go to the Heirs of my Da- ughter Phoebe Robinett in equal Shares or Portions. I nominate & Appoint John Martin & my Son Benjamin Jones Executors to this my last Will & Testament.
