Wilkes Co., NC Will Book #4 Page 136 Will of Sarah Kindall In the name of God Amen. I Sarah Kindall of Wilkes County and State of North Carolina being in the Eighty fourth Year of my age and in- joying a reasonable portion of good health also of mind and Memory and being duly Sensible that According to the course of Nature I have but a short time to live on Earth. Think it proper and best to make a disposition of the small portion of worldly goods and effects that I may dis??????? and possessed of. In manner and form as follows First, it is my Will and desire and do hereby appoint my well beloved Son William Kindall my Executor with full power to sell and dispose of all my Interest as a Legatee of the Estate of my Brother John Foster Dec'd that may be coming to me of the lands left to Lucy Foster for and during her life by the Will of my said Brother and for my said Executor to convey by Deed or Otherwise to Whomever he may Sell the same Interest or Share and his sale and conveyance shall be binding and conclusive to all Intents and purposes the neat poceeds of said Sale Together with all other of my property and all Balances of money due me as a Legatee of my said deceased Brother Remaining in the hands of his Executors. He the said William Kindall my Son and Executor will ask for, demand and receive and dispose of as hereafter directed. Second it is my Will and desire and I do hereby give and Bequeath to my Son and Executor William Kindall one half of the proceeds of all my little Estate be it more or less after taking out ten dollars which I give and aske my beloved Son John Kindall to receive. 3d of the Bal =lance of the Estate I give and Bequeath to my beloved Son James Kindall three fourth parts Thereof and the Remainder I give and Bequeath to my Daughter Betsey Barlow. In this disposition of my little property I had a Single Eye to their Several needs and other Circumstances and believing that my dear Son Thomas Kindall and beloved Daughter Sarah Shearer Withers needs or would accept the Small portion I would be able to give them all my dear Children I hope will be satisfied for they all will have my last & firvent Prayers for their future happiness. 4th and lastly, if I owe anything I wish it punctually paid and do hereby order and declare this to be my only and Last Will and Testament Revoking all other Wills orders Powers of Attorneys Whatsoever particular order or kind of power given to Robert Shearer to Transact the business with the Executors of my Brother John Foster dec'd here by confirming the forgoing to be my last Will & Testament.
