Notes for Benjamin Bonnell, Esq:
From three 8.5x11" pages, paper clipped together, written by EKH:

[First page- written in fountain pen on two sides]:

The working sheets were prepared by the Registrar of the DAR at Washington
C.H. [this is Washington Court House, Ohio- JBC] for Margaret [Margaret
Stemler Hynes- EKH's first cousin on Benton side- JBC] when she wished to add
supplemental lines. The registrar copied the information from Aunt Hetty's
papers. As more information ^and proof also are required now than at the
time Aunt Hetty [Hetty Benton Stemler- Margaret's mother and Delight Benton
Kerr's sister- JBC 1995] joined, so Margaret sent them to me asking me if I
^& mother could supply the missing items which we were fortunately able to
furnish. All seven of Margaret's supplemental papers were approved (1954).

The typing using the black ribbon was copied from Aunt Hetty's papers from the
information supplied by mother (in mother's handwriting). The red typing is
from information supplied by workers in the National Society D.A.R. offices.
["Mother" is Delight Benton Kerr. All typing on the attached pages is in
black- this must be a copy-JBC 1995]

Mother's applications for Benjamin Bonnell Jr and Sr were approved on Jan 6,
1934.

Aunt Hetty's applications on the same lines were made several years later (I
don't exactly). [sic]

The following data has been made in a strange handwriting on Mother's papers:

The EKH DAR chart gives birth and death dates for Benjamin Sr and Rachel, and
is the only place that lists her as the second wife (I have never seen the
name of the first). This may be a confusion with Benj Jr having two wives?
