ENDNOTES
1 Samuel Marshall was the second child of
John Marshall (about 1761-1806) and Catharina Truby Rohrer Marshall (about 1764
to 1806). He was born in
2 Alba Robinson, listed sometimes as Albe,
was Albegence Robinson (1790-1845), the brother of Elisha Robinson,
husband of
3 Elisha Bailey (1805-1883) was
4 Phebe Perry Marshall (1803-1885)
was
5 David
Perry (1811-1892) was a brother of Phebe Perry Marshall.
6 Martha
P. Marshall Welsh was born 05 June 1834.
She was the wife of Dr. Walter Welsh.
Her mother Phebe Marshall made her home with the Welsh Family from at
least 1860 until the time of her death.
7 25 February 1835
is the approximate date of Samuel Marshall’s death at the age of 33; note the purchases around that date
in document “B” above. His brother
Andrew died in 1832 at the age of 31.
