Notes
Will dated 14 Dec 1749, Probated on 20 Apr 1750, reads:
"The home place - I leave to my wife Judah, at her death to my loving son:
John FAIN." Land Patented to William Fain 400 Acres on 25 Jul 1746, and
15 Dec 1749 in Prince Edward Co., VA. William and Judah had other
children but they were not named in his will.
Charles Anderson was executor of William FAIN's estate, at court held
for Amelia Co. (Prince Edward Co.), VA on 22 May 1755.
Recorded in Will Book 1, P.108 Alemlia Co., VA
Judah his wife and his son John FAIN were the only persons
named. William did not name his other children.
