Notes
John had settled his family on the west side of Chattahoochee near Young
Deer Creek. He had at least six daughters who bore children by Cherokees:
Three married to full bloods, and three married to mixed bloods. Their Cherokee
spouses were: Young Deer (Full), Dick Eiskey (Full), Henry Smith (Full),
Aaron Paris (Mixed), Josiah Wickett (Mixed), and John Sanders, Jr. (Mixed).
