BRICK WALL #2 – Peter Frances CLEMENTS – Who were his parents?

Peter Francis CLEMENTS was born in Fluvanna Co., Virginia in 1828 (or at Keswick, Albemarle Co.,
VA).  He was known in records as Peter CLEMENTS, Peter F. CLEMENTS, Frank CLEMMENTS
and Francis CLEMENTS.

In 1848 he married at Fluvanna Co. to Martha E. BUSBY and lived all his life in Fluvanna and
Albemarle Counties.  They appear together as a young married couple in the 1850 census of Fluvanna.
Their family is listed in all US census records through to 1900.  By 1910 they both appear to have
died, but during this period in Virginia, there was no federal death records.

Who were his parents?  There were many CLEMENTS families in Fluvanna (few in Albemarle)
but there exists no land records tying Peter/Francis to any of these families.  Many of the names
given to his 10 sons are similar to names used in other Fluvanna Clements families?  How does
he fit in??
