Ireland14, and died 19 Jan 1951 in 48 Mill Street, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland15. She married Bernard O'Neill on 25 Nov 1894 in All Saints Church, Ballymena, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland16, son of James O'Neill and Catherine Seymour.

FUNERAL OF MRS E. O'NEILL BALLYMENA

There was a large attendance at the funeral of the late Mrs Ellen O'Neill, Mill Street, Ballymena mother of the Rev. R. O'Neill, CC. St. Patrick's Church Belfast and of the Rev. Bernard O'Neill, Maynooth Missions to China who is at present in Nancheng.
The late Mrs. O'Neill was one of the eldest residents of Ballymena, her husband, the late Bernard O'Neill having carried on business as a leading boot and shoe merchant in the town for a lifetime. Her remains were removed to All Saints Church on Saturday evening and the funeral took place yesterday to the family burying ground Crebilly. The funeral cortege included representatives of the professional, business and public life of the community. A woman of great faith she was loved by all who knew her.
Most Rev. Dr. Mageean, Bishop of Down and Connor presided at the Mass, which was celebrated by Rev R. O'Neill CC. A touching panegyric was afterwards preached by Rev. C.McQuillan CC.
The chief mourners were Rev. R. O'Neill CC. and Rev Bernard O'Neill (sons) Misses Nellie and Nora O'Neill (daughters) Messrs George, John, Thomas, James Carey (Nephews) Miss Nellie Caulfield, Mrs N. McKeague, Dunloy (nieces) Messrs Nicholas and James McKeague Dunloy, John McKenna, Charles Walker, William McCormick and Thady Harte, B. Glover, H. Glover, J. Bradley Belfast relatives.
