I am looking for information to trace our family roots beyond what I could find out from close family members and locally available resources. The Mason family comes from New Jersey, all others come from Virginia/West Virginia and Ohio. If you can add anything please E-mail me. Isaac Mason was born in New Jersey or New York in 1797 and moved to Oh by 1820. He and his wife Charlotte had their son Theodore in 1839 and moved to Putnam County, WV in about 1840,as the rest of their children are born in Va/WV. My mother's family all came from Wayne County, WV, the Sullivans, Adkins, Fergusons, Rays, etc. I have always been told that the Days came from South Eastern Ky, but I can find little on them. I have found and spoke to several "cousins" in the past year or so, and they have given me some valuable new information, but like all of us, I am seeking more! Am really trying to find the burial place of Theodore Mason, he remarried after Nancy died, to a much younger woman, so she probably outlived him by a number of years. I have now met some new cousins, they had a family reunion this summer and we all had a really good time, gathered some new information, but not anything any farther back in time.
