George Massman married Vernona Hald 2/2/1964. We have been trying to build a tree from that union back. George's father was George, his grandfather was Frank William Massman, and his great-grandfather was Theodore Massman. These Massmans were located in Chicago. Frank W. had at least one brother, John who lived in Wisconsin. On the maternal side, George's grandmother was Edythe J. (Colburn) Massman, and his great grandmother was named Mary Elizabeth (Beck) Colburn, wife of Charles Lyman Colburn, who was born in Dansville, New York. On Vernona's side, Her father is Vernon Kenneth Hald and her mother was Ellen LaVella (Parris) Hald. Her paternal grandparents were Minnie Dorothea (Ehlers) Hald and Christian Alfred Hald. Minnie's parents were Anna (Rage) Ehler and Dietrich Ehlers. Christian Hald's parents were Alfred and Mary (unknown) Hald. On the maternal side, Vernona's grandparents were Opal Adella (Loving) Parris and Earl Parris. Opal's parents were Maria Ellen (Kelly) Loving, and Lewis Albert Loving. Lewis' parents were Jane (Unknown) and Moses Loving. Maria (Kelly) Loving's parents were Elmira Elizabeth (Bennett) Kelly and Thaddeus H. Kelley. If you feel we may be related, give us a yell.
