Jesse Franklin Swor, hosted many Swor Families reunions, was one of the founding members of the National Association of Swor Families and served as President of NASF. Jesse Franklin Swor was also author of a book called "Land of the Winds" in this book he states it is part fictional. Jesse wrote a dessertation on the history of the Garvin Memorial Cemetery in Dallas, TX. As a result, the Texas Historical Society marked the Garvin Memorial Cemetery with a marker as a historical site. Jesse Franklin Swor was a descendant of Robert and Sarah (Rushing) Swor. He was born 20 December 1912 in Dallas, Dallas, TX and died 06 November 1987 in Dallas, Dallas, TX.
