(This land was jointly held with Capt Nathaniel Wyche, decd., and it was originally entered by William Doby and William Solomon who sold it to David Mason.) Said 810 acres is bounded by the mouth of Carter's Branch on east side of Otterdam Swamp, a line between sd David Mason and sd Littleberry Mason, corner of the Old School House Old Field, Lewis Branch, Richard Hay, the Spring Branch near John Whitehorn, Lewis Thorp and a corner of Lewis Thorp, James Wyche and Joseph Thorp. Land includes all of the land bought by David Mason from William Doby (320 acres), William Solomon (150 acres), John Avent (148 acres), Lewis Thorp which he had of John Hamilton (40 acres) and William Avent (152 acres).
