| Hi! I am researching my husband's family that was located in Texas, mainly in Del Rio, El Paso, and Uvalde areas. His great-grandfather, Richard Edward Carta, supposedly lived on a ranch in a valley named after him. His wife was Margaret Elizabeth Beckett, and they had a large family. We have no documentation but only a strong oral history. Family names that we are interested in are Matty, Brooks, Carta, and Ward. Any information would be appreciated.
