| I am currently researching the following families. Mortenson family from Chippewa Falls Wisconsin. Came to the United States from Norway in 1883. I am also researching the John Mathews family. John was from Pennsylvania (born 1806) and came to Indiana and settled in Newcastle Township. Would also be interested in John Emmons (born 1820) in Indiana. I have a lot of Emmons family information but always looking for more. Also am looking for information on John Shaffer (born 1847) in Ohio. I have done some research on the Dudgeon and Overmyer families that settled in Richland Township, Fulton County Indiana. I also have information on the Emmons family that was researched by a cousin.
