The John Matchett Family of Summerfield, Kansas

I am David Matchett second grandson of Dr. John Matchett. I have just begun researching by paternal ancestry. Little is known about ny grandfather as he passed away at the young age of 39 years January 9, 1905. My father, John A. Matchett was the only child born to Dr.and Mrs. John Matchett. Dr. Matchett was married to Myrtle I. Schleigh at Beattie, Kansas in 1900. History accounts of Summerfield, Kansas where he practiced medicine indicate he graduated from The Homeopathic College of Medicine at Kansas City, Missouri in 1894 and Originally came from ittsburgh, Pennsylvania date unknown. A photo and diploma substantiate the graduation.
