Although we now live in California, I am from Michigan. Our family tree includes surnames: White, Matsuyama, Kosai, Kinashit, McNamara, Williamson, Sessions, Fowle, Hammond, Gloyd, and Sloane among others. Our ancestors came from Ireland, England, France, Hungary, and my sons' father's relatives are from Japan. I have traced our ancestry all the way back to early England and even have several royals in our background. I would love to hear from other possible relatives / cousins / etc.

I am particularly interested in researching info for my great-grandfather Thomas F. McNamara who immigrated from Ireland in 1881, to Michigan. He outlived 2 wives and had 4 children. I would especially love to find out the name of his first wife and whether or not she immigrated from Ireland with him or if they met here in America. Her name may have been Mary. They had two children, Robert and Edward McNamara. His second wife, my great-grandmother, was Marie Jubenville. She was French, but I think she was born in the U.S. They had 2 children, Thomas Francis McNamara and Beatrice McNamara. Marie died young as well. There is also my mother's "Aunt Beth" who lived in California who figures in here some where. I am not sure if she was really an Aunt or may even have been a cousin. I would love to hear from anyone who could compare notes on the McNamaras.
