I'm primarily working on the following family trees: Ancestors and descendants of JOHN MATSON (1775 - 1819). John died and is buried in Pigeon Forge, Sevier County, Tennessee. Three of his five sons, Andrew, Jesse, and William Hatcher, and his two daughters, Frances and Nancy, came to Talladega County, Alabama, in the 1830-40's. Son John settled in Marshall County, Alabama, in the mid 1830's and son son, James, moved with his wife Levina Hart's family to Bartholomew County, Indiana, in the 1840's. Ancestors and descendants of THOMAS WATSON (about 1725 - 1783). Thomas died in Columbia County, Georgia. His descendants migrated throughout Georgia and into Alabama, Texas, and other states. A descendant of Thomas Watson, Thomas Peter Watson, was my GGGF and he moved many of his family to Talladega County, Alabama, around 1860. Ancestors and descendants of Elisha Horton who died in Jasper County, Georgia, in 1868. Elisha's son William M. Horton's family was in Fayette County, Georgia, in 1850, and in Talladega County, Alabama, in 1860 and I'm a descendant of William's son MARION CRAWFORD HORTON (1845 - 1911). William's wife was Elizabeth Boyd.
