I search for the family name "Mathis" that was in Tift County Georgia. I am aware that the name has been changed in Alabama, but I do not have any information to support that. Please contact me through E-Mail or US Mail if you have any information. My great-grandfather and great-grandmother are Joseph Abner (Joab) and Laura Etta Mathis that are buried in Tifton, Georgia.
