| Hi,My name is Jane Helen Matthews and I am gathering information concerning the relatives to James Henry Matthews born in (Edna, Texas). His parents were Thomas F. Matthews and Laura (Holder) Matthews. My dad passed away November 27, 1997 and I am creating his family tree as a memorial to him. If you have any information that may help to find my long lost relatives please let me know. I am also researching my mothers heritage (Margaret Anne (Black) Matthews) (born in Navosota, Texas). Parents were Charlie G. Black of Navasota, Texas and H.M. (McCellan) Black of Hempstead, Texas. It is my understanding that the relatives I am seeking would be kindred spirits to General Sam Houston. I would be delighted to share any information I have with interested person. |
