| I am reserching the Mathis family, John(unknown)Mathis, believed to be born in 1847 in Alabama. Married to Martha Jane Duncan, about 1855. Their offspring included my Grand Father John Thomas Mathis, born in Clark County Arkansas Feb 3, 1866, married to Maggie Bates Bourland November 23, 1898 in Clark County, Arkansas. I have found the long line of Bourland decendents all the way back to my GGGrandfather, Ebenezer Jackson Bourland Sr., but in trying to find the Mathis connection to my GreatGrandfather has not proven to be possible at this time. Any help would be appreciated. | |
