John Matchett
|
I am trying to create a lasting record of my branch of the Matchett family and all of its relations: Coltart, Roy, Drummond, Welsh, Totton(en), Blair. I was born in Moffat, Scotland, and now live in the London area. My Great Grandfather, also John Matchett, moved from Portadown in Ireland arround 1870 and married Mary Colvin Blair in Scotland. Subsequently the family is predominantly Scottish. I am particulary interested in adding to my Irish Matchett roots. I would also like to solve the mystery of what happened to my maternal Grandmother, Mary Coltart (nee Welsh) who 'dissappeared' some time after 1910. I am willing to share any information that I have. |
