I Am searching for any relatives, decendants, or information of Peter and Elizabeth Matthews of St Cleer Cornwall England I know the whereabouts of William John, Peter, Marthar, Selena, and Emma.
James born 1851 and Thomas born circa 1859. these two were listed as copper miners on the 1871 cornwall census. they are believed to have migrated to america and possibly could have been in California, William John was in California in 1880 and in circa 1932 a nephew visited him in Ayr Australia, He was in the USA navy or merchant marine and was supposed to be from
Jackson in Calaveras County California.William John was my Grandfather. Peter migrated to Newzealand, Mathar died in Western Australia, if you have any information please email me at above address,. hopeing to hear from someone in the family.
