I am interested in finding information on the following:
Family of Ole and Jorgine Lee family who emigrated to Canada. Ole around 1893, Jorgine later. Ole came to help set up the British Columbia fisheries. The children of Ole & Jorgine were very much a part of the Yukon and Klondike goldrush.
The family of Johan and Anna Lisa Larsson, whose children emigrated from Sweden during the 1890's. These children came by boat individually and stayed with Johan's brother Nils August who had emigraged previously to Rockford, Illinois. Some of the family stayed in Rockford, some went to British Columbia and some to the U.S.
The family of William Fielden Whittaker. William married Martha Satterthwaite and emigrated from the family home of "Belmont" in Hawkshead England around the turn of the century. The family tree does include the "Vicar of Blackburn" and I KNOW there has to be relatives from these roots somewhere. Upon arrival in the US the Whittaker family homesteaded in Chehalis, Washington, USA where they raised there family.
The Mattis family escaped from Russia during the implementation of communisum. They left family behind who we know NOTHING about
I love family history and hope to compile and write a book on our family one day. Anyone who thinks they may be a lost link or have any information in regard to these families please contact me.
