We are looking for information on Sandor "Alex" ARTH. He was born April 24, 1882 in Hungary. His parents were John ARTH and Karty TERAS. It is believed that he immigrated from Nagycsakany in Hungary. He arrived in the United States (New York) on December 15, 1908 aboard the ship La Bretagne that sailed from Le Havre, Seine-Inferior, France. It is believed that he originally settled around Cleveland, Ohio. He was coming over to join his brother Ignatz Arth who was listed as living in Cumberland 8193, Cleveland, OH. He and his wife, Magdolna HAULER ARTH, later moved to Wall, PA. Sandor died Nov.6,1929 in Wall, PA. His body was shipped back to Cleveland and he was buried there in Calvary Cemetery. According to a translation of his Hungarian obituary and the ship's manifest, he also had a brother named Ignac (Ignatz). Magdolna remarried (John WALKO) and died Nov. 8, 1950. She is buried in Monroeville, PA. She was born July 15, 1893 (also believed to have immigrated from Hungary). Magdolna's parents were Michael and Rosalie HAULER. Magdolna also had a daughter Mary by a previous marriage. Any information on either individual and their ancestors would be welcomed.
I have located Sandor's brother Ignac's family. They still live in Ohio.

We are also looking for information on George Peter MATCUK. He was born May 6, 1893 in Borovia, Russia. He arrived in the U.S. in 1912. On a visa questionnaire, he listed a sister named Anna KURLOVICH and a niece named Agnes TISOLOVICH as relatives in the USSR. His wife, Cecilia Rita DELEWSKA (family name DELEWSKI), was born Nov. 27, 1899 in Pittsburgh. Her parents were John and Mary Rose KOSCZKA DELEWSKI. Any information on either individual and their ancestors would be welcomed.
