Ancestors of James Porteous Henderson, Tinwald, Dumfrieshire

Updated April 23, 2003

This website lists the ancestors of James Porteous Henderson who was born in Tinwald parish, Dumfrieshire in 1865. He brought his wife and 10-year old son to Canada in 1907, settling on a farm north east of Kingston, Ontario. Eventually the family were able to purchase their own farm, on the shores of Lake Ontario, where the Norman Rogers Airport is to-day.

The website is a continuing work in progress, and I would welcome new information. I am also willing to share the information and sources I have found to date.
