I am a descendant of Ernest Amos Matthews who was the fourth child of Joseph Matthews and Ann Archer. He was born on August 19th, 1869 in the village of Hanbury, Staffordshire. His first child, Bert Matthews who married Mona Gray, had nine children and I am the son of his fourth child, also named Bert, who passed away in 1988 while living in Canada. My mother's maiden name is Catherine Fitzsimon, also from Widnes. I would be very grateful for any information that you may have on either my father's or mother's side.
